Im getting tired of the brake dust so I wanted to get these pads for front. Rear seems ok.
I see part# EUR1549 for 2016. The official Akebono website catalog only goes up to 2016. Can anyone confirm if EUR1549 is the right part # for my application? I have about 900 miles on it.
Thanks

Ah, try calling your Audi dealer parts and ask if the Audi part number is the same as 15/16 and then you'll have your answer. BTW I just put akebono euros on my tdi, I'm a fan. Different partno on the tdi fronts than yours though.

1. Check PR code sticker for brake option - it may be attached onto your warranty booklet or somewhere in the spare tire well. If it is 1LL, 1LF, 1LG, or 1ZK, you have 356 mm rotor. Brake code location is where it says 1LJ in this code sticker.

2. Check the presence of the cover plate on the brake caliper as shown in the 4th picture in this thread that has S-Lline on it (yours may not have that S-line writing).

3. Call a part department at your dealer and ask for the rotor size.

It is more than likely EUR1549 is the right pad (356 mm or 14 inch rotor) for your car. There are many ways to check the size (correct) of brake for confirmation:
1. Check PR code sticker for brake option - it may be attached onto your warranty booklet or somewhere in the spare tire well. If it is 1LL, 1LF, 1LG, or 1ZK, you have 356 mm rotor. Brake code location is where it says 1LJ in this code sticker.

Thanks for that info. I do have the cover on my caliper w/o SLine logo. Looked at Code sheet in the spare tire well and there is a 1LF listed but did not see "1LJ" portion on sticker. Trying to attach photo of it.

I just changed rotors (Zimmerman) and pads (Akebono) for our 13 A6 for the same reason even though there were plenty of life left for the pads since it was replaced on CPO inspection. Akebono pads give me much better initial brake control than OEM pad which is so grabby. Also Akebono pads give you long service life for both rotors and pads. I had 06 A6 that I put on 6 years and 100k miles to Akebono pads and still plenty of life left when I traded it.
I also recommend to replace rear pads with Akebono too since it will save your rear rotors specially if your car has ACC (Adaptive cruise control).
Normally you see more front rotor wear than rear, but my rear rotors were close to minimum thickness which was another reason for complete brake job.
Your brake code for rear is 2EE (1st code on the same row as the front brake code 1LF) which is 330 mm (or 13 inch) ventilated rotor. Akebono EUR1547A is the right part. Many members including me bought them from a seller in Amazon. Rear was less than $50, and front is less than $80.
On the other hand, my son's 13 A4 has OEM brake pads that are performing like Akebono pads in terms of brake durst and wear. I wish Audi makes same type of pad for A6.
I know you do not need to worry about spare parts for a while but here is a tip for future.
Ask your part department to print out "Car Data" which has all PR codes for your car.
Then use this online part catalog to search for a particular part you are looking for per the PR code.

Thanks for interpreting what I call a buildsheet similar to the old Mopar muscle cars. Guess that is a valuable piece of paper there. My first Audi and I love it. Long term is wait and see for now.
I did see the Amazon listing from a vendor called Trueblueparts. There is the same name seller on Ebay. Looks like the same seller and a bit less on Ebay.
Thanks for the additional info too!
