Audi RS7 ABT Legacy Edition

Limited to just 200 total units, the Audi RS7 Legacy Edition is a comprehensive package with 760 horsepower and incredible looks.

For fans of Audi in general, the name ABT Sportsline is undoubtedly a familiar one, as the German racing/turning company has been not only competing on the track, but also churning out all kinds of performance parts and turnkey builds for over a century to this point. Over that time, it has produced some seriously amazing and memorable machines, with the latest being this – the Audi RS7 Legacy Edition, a beautifully brutal machine that’s the star of this video from Auditography.

Those that remember the RS6 ABT Legacy Edition will undoubtedly be familiar with what, exactly, has been done to create the Audi RS7 Legacy Edition, a build created to celebrate the fact that it’s been around for over a decade to this point. One of the main stars of the proverbial show is the car’s exposed carbon fiber body kit, which consists of a front splitter with integrated blades, a new grille, an intake garnish, hood scoop, side gills, side skirts, mirror caps, a rear diffuser, faux vents, and a rear wing.

The RS7 ABT Legacy Edition rolls on a special set of 22-inch forged alloy wheels, to boot, and astute Audi fans will notice that it’s packing quad exhaust tips courtesy of ABT’s stainless steel exhaust system. However, another clue that this is no ordinary RS7 lies on the outside as well – a “1 of 200” emblem, signifying this machine’s rarity, as that’s precisely how many ABT plans to build in total.

ABT addresses the interior as well, giving it special Dinamica soul fabric upholstery that’s flame-retardant, along with its own carbon fiber steering wheel, custom floor mats, RS7-LE door sills, illuminated entrance lighting, and optional Valcona leather. However, the real star of this show is what lies under the hood – thanks to ABT turbos, an ECU upgrade, and a bigger intercooler, the car’s twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 now churns out a hefty 760 horsepower and 723 pound-feet of torque, which is a massive increase from the stock ratings of 621 and 627.

Throw in height-adjustable coilovers and stiffer anti-roll bars, and the Audi RS7 ABT Legacy Edition is a true total package, one that can rocket from 0-60 in just 3.1 seconds. Of course, as one might imagine, it also isn’t cheap – If you can get your hands on one, the package alone starts out at €102,600 ($114,143 USD), while the suspension upgrades add another €7,171 ($7,978 and the interior redo costs €22,829 ($25,400) – all minus the donor car and installation. However, for anyone looking for perhaps the ultimate version of the RS7, you’d be hard-pressed to do better, that’s for sure.
