2025 Audi e-tron GT Debuts: 3 Models & The Most Powerful Audi Ever Made
The 2025 Audi e-tron GT lineup has expanded to three variants, with the GT Performance churning out over 900 horsepower.
The Audi e-tron GT is an important model for a variety of reasons – it’s the brand’s third all-electric vehicle, as well as its first full-size electric sedan. It also shares a platform with the Porsche Taycan, making it a compelling alternative to its corporate counterpart for those who prefer Audi style, inside and out. However, the e-tron GT has been on sale for a few years now, meaning that it’s due for a few updates. We were treated to a teaser previewing some of those updates not long ago, and now, the refreshed 2025 Audi e-tron GT has been officially unveiled.
The 2025 Audi e-tron GT lineup has expanded to include three variants as part of this mid-cycle action —
- S e-tron GT
- RS e-tron GT
- RS e-tron GT Performance
The latter marks the arrival of the very first fully electric RS Performance model from the brand. All three new e-trons feature a host of improvements over the outgoing model, including boosts to performance, range, charging speed, and handling in a pretty comprehensive overhaul.
Each of the three 2025 Audi e-tron GT models sports its own distinctive styling elements, helping to differentiate them. All three feature a front-end overhaul for a more aggressive look overall, with an inverted “Singleframe” featuring the 3D honeycomb design synonymous with RS models, along with a revamped apron that makes the car look lower to the ground, functional L‑shaped blades, and motorsports-inspired elements out back that include a 3D-look diffuser and a vertical red reflector between the aero channels.
2025 S e-tron GT
The S e-tron GT is more focused on “elegant sportiness,” sporting a black mask up front with embossed structures in the grille, a strip of body-color paint above the Singleframe, uniquely shaped air curtains, and a rear diffuser with vertical fins. The all-new 2025 Audi RS e-tron GT Performance is quite distinctive as well, thanks to elements like an optional matte, darkened carbon roof, and carbon camouflage elements that are exclusive to that range.

In terms of exterior colors, the 2025 e-tron GT has nine to offer – Arkona White, Ascari Blue, Daytona Gray, Florett Silver, Kemora Gray, Mythos Black, Progressive Red, Nimbus Gray (RS e‑tron GT and RS e‑tron GT Performance only), and Bedford Green (exclusive to the RS e‑tron GT Performance). Customers can also opt for the Black Optics package, which adds dark Audi rings to the front and rear, along with black rear diffusers, air intakes, wing mirror housings, L-shaped blades, and aero channels. Additionally, a variety of new wheel options joins the list of updates on the outside.

Inside the cabin, the 2025 Audi e-tron GT gets redesigned elements such as the seats, steering wheel, door sills, and digital content. Other additions include new welcome lighting, available natural linear anthracite birch wooden inlays, optional Vanadium accents, and a steering wheel that’s flat both on top and at the bottom. There are plenty of other materials present in this updated cabin, including Dinamica and Cascade, joining a revamped list of Audi Connect services, on-demand functions, and an app store. Perhaps the coolest addition is the new panoramic glass roof, however, which now features smart glass that can turn opaque at the touch of a button, dimming the impacts of the sun when desired.
2025 S e-tron GT interior
In terms of motivation, the 2025 Audi e-tron GT lineup gets more powerful and lighter e-motors across the board, with the S e-tron GT utilizing two that are rated to produce a combined 670 horsepower, while the RS e-tron GT nets 844 horsepower. The RS e-tron GT Performance, however, generates a whopping 912 total horsepower, making it the most powerful production Audi ever to grace this earth. According to Audi, this results in brisk performance for each model – the S e-tron GT takes 3.4 seconds to reach 62 mph, the RS e-tron GT does the deed in 2.8 seconds, and the RS e-tron GT Performance blazes to 62 in a mere 2.5 seconds.
Meanwhile, the e-tron GT’s battery pack has gotten lighter and more energy-dense, resulting in a top range of 609 kilometers (378 miles) on Europe’s WLTP cycle, though Audi hasn’t yet released specifics for each model. Maximum charging power has increased as well, from 50 kW to 320 kW, meaning that a mere 10 minutes of high-speed DC charging can add 280 kilometers (174 miles) of range, and the e-tron GT can charge from 10-80 percent in 18 minutes.
Underneath, the 2025 Audi e-tron GT gets a revamped air suspension that reportedly improves driving dynamics without impacting ride quality, while an active suspension is available as an option. As is usually the case, all three 2025 Audi e-tron GT models feature their own unique drive modes, and all-wheel steering is available, to boot.
The 2025 Audi e-tron GT is available to order now, with a starting price tag of 126,000 euros ($134,714 USD) for the S e-tron GT, while the RS e-tron GT retails for 147,500 euros ($157,701 USD), and the range-topping RS e-tron GT Performance costs 160,500 euros ($171,600 USD).
