Finishing in the beautiful shade of Nogaro, this 2023 Audi RS3 Performance Edition looks right at home on Swedish roads.

As Audi fans are well aware, the letters “RS” mean something extra special in this particular part of the automotive universe, the top of the line in terms of performance for any particular model within the German brand’s lineup. That includes the Audi RS3, a particularly compelling machine that’s a massive upgrade over the base A3 and even the S3, which make do with a “mere” 201 and 306 horsepower, respectively. The 2023 Audi RS3, on the other hand, utilizes a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five cylinder engine producing a healthy 401 horsepower and 369 pound-feet, giving it stellar performance in every measurable way. Then there’s the true king of the proverbial A3 hill – the 2023 Audi RS3 Performance Edition.

In this video from Auditography, we get to take a detailed, breathtaking look a the seriously beautiful – and seriously rare – 2023 Audi RS3 Performance Edition Sportback model, which is one of just 300 built. It’s an even more special version of an already special car, one that offers up a bit more power – 407 hp – that stems from additional boost and some exhaust tweaks.

That doesn’t make a huge difference on performance, with the 2023 Audi RS3 Performance Edition taking around 3.3 seconds to reach 60 in the real world (considerably quicker than Audi’s 3.8-second claims), but it is capable of reaching 186 mph with the optional RS Plus Dynamic Package versus the standard car’s governed top speed of 159 mph.

Otherwise, the RS3 Performance Edition comes with the adaptive chassis and ceramic brakes as standard, as well as unique 19-inch wheels wrapped with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires. Visual enhancements include black badges and a black rear diffuser – complemented by a special badge and Dinamica microfiber/Nappa leather seats inside the cabin. This particular example is finished in the stunning shade of Nogaro Blue, which is one of a few color options including Daytona Gray, Arrow Gray, Sebring Black, Sebring Black Crystal, and Glacier White.

In this video, we get to watch this amazing machine do its thing across the beautiful roads of southern Sweden, which is notable because sadly, the RS3 Performance Edition isn’t available in the U.S. Already a rare machine, it might be some peoples’ only chance to see the RS3 Performance Edition in action – which is a shame, but perhaps not for those lucky enough to own one.
