Caught Testing: Next Generation Audi TT RS?

It’s been a busy spring for our spy photographers. This week they sent us some photos of a TT mule, shown here sporting TTS badges, but clearly with some RS style brakes, and from what we are told, suspension components.

What lurks beneath the stylish hood of this car is anyone’s guess, but an educated guess would be that it is a version of a 2.5 liter 5 cylinder turbocharged engine, similar if not exactly the same as what’s in the RS 3.

We’re excited for the new TT RS, as the previous version was a fabulously fun car to drive, with tons of power, and ridiculous handling. We’re sure Audi will have more on this car soon.
