8. 3.0L Supercharged TFSI V6 (2008 – Present) 

Once in a great while, an engine comes out that can fulfill a wide range of roles and wear many hats. That’s the case with the 3.0 liter TFSI V6 which managed to find its way into a whole swath of Audi models. From the flagship A8 and A7 to even the S4, this spirited engine has the goods to back up its claims and then some, with the engine actually making Ward’s Best Engine list. The beauty of it is that the engine is still making waves and taking names with the powerplant currently being used in the SQ5 and SQ7 crossovers. We suspect having 333 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque plays a big role in that as well, especially when navigating the twists and turns of some of the world’s best driving roads.
