4. Audi RS3

2015 RS3

The Audi A3 has been around since the 1990s but really came into its own as a performance sedan in the 2010s. The sharper, more aggressive styling helped. But what really buttered its biscuit was the 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-five. In the RS3 it produces 367 horsepower with a bear-like growl. The trick Quattro all-wheel drive can shift all of the car’s available power to the rear wheels to produce tail-out oversteer. Light, fast, AWD fun – it really is the ultimate expression of Audi.
