If the TT is not enough sports car for you, how about the Audi R8? For a starting price of $142,000, it offered a platform shared by the Lamborghini Hurrican, a V8 or V10 engine, and supercar performance. It’s a car we take for granted, but it’s a heroic effort by Audi to produce something exotic. I’ve likened it to a German Lamborghini, but I’m not sure that does the R8 justice. It’s more like Audi’s version of the Acura NSX. It’s a car that showcases Audi’s abilities. And like the NSX, it’s a bargain exotic car that puts other exotic cars on notice with its elite level of performance and everyday driveability.
