2. Audi S1 Hoonitron

The Audi S1 Hoonitron probably won’t make it into production. But when people, including myself, bemoan the demise of internal combustion, they need to check out the video of Ken Block in Las Vegas seemingly defying physics. The Hoonitron gleefully shreds tires and makes a Tesla Model 3 look about as new and exciting as a Ford Taurus.

The Audi S1 Hoonitron is a one-off car developed between Audi and Ken Block. Inspired by the original Audi Sport Quattro S1, it includes two electric motors, a carbon fiber chassis, and scads of power. Hopefully, we’ll see more of the Hoonitron soon or something even wilder. But regardless, the technology will likely show up in future models.
