Default 1.8T

I'm considering a few audi options...I've been thinking about an S4 2.7t. How does the 1.8t stack up against the 2.7t when it come to reliability?
Can you bring up the power in the 1.8t reliably and still have a daily driver---how much power can you make for a modest price?

Default Both just as reliable, but the 2.7T you have double the worries.

Ask on the B5 A4 forum about power with a daily driver 1.8T. Plenty of them have highly mod 1.8T for a DD.

And the 2.7 is a lot harder to work on!

Default How much power you want? Whats your budget? 1.8T is cheaper maintenance, with a k04=S4

And thats a very reliable setup. APR Stg3 is reliable and quicker than a stock S4.

all depends on how much power you want and how much you are willing to spend.
