hi, ive got a strange rattle that comes from the rear of the engine when you start the car and lasts for about 30 seconds, its quite loud and happens with engine speed when you rev it.
Its been there for about a year with out getting any worse but ive just sold the car and need to fix it.
i changed the cam chain tensioner about 6 months ago but it made no difference. I cant hear the noise listening to the block through a screwdriver so im thinking it might be the cat?

mine makes a similar noise. I think its the brackets

I get the same noise when I start my car in the morning. It rattles for about 3 secs then goes away as i am warmin it up. But when im in first gear or reversing and I rev a bit there is this rattling noise.
