fuel pump
anybody know how much work it is to fix this. apparently i need a new one. damn car left me on the side of the road last night..
My mechanic says its gonna take a long time to fix and about 600$ canadian for this damn thing

A bosch race pump is abt 400$ and it only takes 30 minutes to put it in?
You gots an expensive mechanic. A reg pump should be 160$ us, and even if you know nothing its not much to take the pump out of tank and replace. but 600 even Canadian seems high. Must be chargeing extra for the 15 extra canadians to lift and turn the car while unscrewing the pump.
