Hope this is a really quick question
I pulled my MAF out to clean it (due to a lean run, bank 1...something like that).
While looking over the MAF sensor. It looks as if there is a "pict-o-gram" of resistor on the side of the sensor. There is also locations where the resistor could be pressed into.
So, question I have is. Is there supposed to be any resistors on the side of the sensor?
Thank you very much for your time,
Sean

Re: Ok for sure then no.
hummm ok...cool. It was looking odd. I was thinking that it would kinda suck to have electronic parts whizzing through a turbo then shot into an engine and then yeah...that all would suck.
I am now thinking the lean code "P0171" bank 1 may have something to do with the wide range O2 sensor. I have found torn vacuum hoses and replaced them. Disconnected the battery for some time to turn off the MIL. Then let the car adapt.
Today I also added seafoamed to the crankcase and gas tank. I figure I have had this car for two weeks. I have replaced the clutch, vac hoses, and battled with the heater core numerous times. I finally won that war. Heater is now working great.
Scratch, want to thank you for your help. Your post helped me get to the bottom of the problem.
