Got a 2002 A4 1.8T AVJ engine, had a K04-015 fitted , TT225 (385cc injectors) and custom software. My problem is the car is making different boost in different gears eg 1st gear 0.8bar , 2nd gears 0.9bar, 3rd 1.0bar etc.. till 1.2bar in 5th. The problem is that the requested boost is 1.4 bar in all gear and the car is not getting the, there are no fault codes and I have check for leaks and cannot find any. I have the stock N75 valve fitted and a 710N DV. When I first did the hardware install the car ran 1.0bar all gears (it was the K03 map). A pipe from the N249 to Diverter valve came off and car lost boost and would not boost past 0.8bar .. during that time of 3 days my tuner loaded the K04 map but boost remained at 0.8bar, I found the fault can boost cam back but it now boost as above. My question has any of the guys running the K04 experienced different boost levels in different gears? Should it make full boost in 3rd under WOT and make requested boost pls help , I have changed my stock N75c to another N75c but no change.

Do you think I should pull out pipe from actuator to see if turbo make full boost?

this way you can check all the hose as well as all the connections all the way to the ntake manifold. If you don't have a leak, that's when I'd cahse things down like the turbo.
