On my way back from my parent's last sunday, my oil pressure light started blinking along with loud lifter noise.
Where should I start 1st?
Should it be the cam chain tensioner or would it be the oil pickup?
The car had a new oil pump installed at 70k miles by the previous owner. I purchased it with 86k and now the car has just over 100k.
Thanks for your help.

Well, looks like seafoam saved the day. I ran 1/2 a can with the existing oil and another 1/2 with dino oil, flushed both times and now am back to synthetic. Car purrs like a kitten.

Take off your oil pan and check the oil sending screen for debris. My cam tensioner was getting eaten away by the chain and the plastic was all ground up, falling into the oil pan and clogging it.
