Compression Test, sounds like a bad headgasket, and check the oil line going into the turbo.

Do a compression test now. If they aren't in spec don't bother bolting it back together.

OK Guys I will in the morning but is it OK to leave the exhaust off while doing a compression test? will this not make a difference? and also what should my compression reading be? what is a good range and what is acceptable
Thanks in advance for all the help

Oh and the oil line going into the turbo is fine absolutely no signs of oil around it. The oil is in between the exhaust manifold and the block right between where the exhaust outlets are no oil in the outlets I assume thats because the oil is being burnt and also it actually looks like the oil is coming out of the studs for the exhaust manifold.. I am just wandering if the oil has gone there from my cam seal and valve cover gasket were all no good. Also the manifold was kinda looser than I would of had thought very easy to take off. Maybe the oil made it easier than usual anyway I suppose if I do the compression test first that will give us a fair idea
Thanks again guys

Default Bentley spec is 130-200psi. Check the compression, but it could be residual oil.

But I doubt it, it most likely would have burned off.

OK Guys just did my compression test
Cylinder
1) 165PSI
2) 150
3) 160
4) 170

I know they are a little low but do you guys think this would be causing the leak into my exhaust

Could it be my Valves how do I check them
Thanks once again I don't know what I would do without you all

It would be your valve guides that would be bad, and the car would smoke alot.

It doesn't smoke bad at all, but it really looks like the oil is coming from the studs that hold the exhaust manifold in.. but saying that do you guys think it could of had come from the valve cover seal or the cam seals they were quite shot. I'm thinking is it possible that they leaked and made their way between the manifold and head. The manifold even though I didn't hear a leek was quite loose

Makes sense, because the studs shouldn't leak oil unless the head is cracked.
