Default the warranty extension letter for oil sludge, does not prohibit doing self oil changes in any way...

the wording describing the requirements and limitations, details the documentation requirements for self oil changes. There is NO wording requiring that ALL oil changes must be performed by a "certified" mechanic. That assertion by AoA, is pure BS, and is in direct conflict with the wording in the oil sludge warranty extension letter.

Default Important! In your situation, you MUST request the spun bearing corrective action as required....

Default Re: the warranty extension letter for oil sludge, does not prohibit doing self oil changes in any wa

AoA did deny my warranty claim, the only thing I could do was take them to court. The documentation and pictures I have submitted in my case are very complete. What I need are affidavites from other people stating they were also denied warranty repair and were in compliance with the warranty or the warranty extension. The affidavite needs to say it is signed under oath and has to be notorized. AoA will find any reason to deny the damage they have done to these engines. 426,000 warranty extension letters were sent out. All these engines that had the oil changed with petroleum based oil at 10k intervals are now sludge damaged. At a conservative cost of $9k to replace these engines is $3.8 billion dollars VW will not admit to. This is consumer fraud in my opinion.
