Default Rough idle, random revs, cylinder misfire, PLEASE HELP!

Car: 2001 B5 Audi A4, 1.8T

I just recently had my engine rebuilt because of the infamous timing belt problem. My car drove very well for about 50 miles. Then it began to idle rough, random revs without touching the accelerator, and a solid CEL.

The codes I got:
a) Running too lean, Bank 1
b) Cylinder 1 Misfire
c) Cylinder 2 Misfire
d) Cylinder 3 Misfire
e) Cylinder 4 Misfire

Any ideas of what it may be? I appreciate anyone's help!

I just cleared the codes, waited about 30 minutes, started the car.

Guess what? It's running fine now. Therefore, it's obviously an electronic problem. I'm sure if I drive tomorrow, it'll throw the code again.

Default throttle body

you may want to consider cleaning the throttle body and readapting it with a vag-com. they often cause an unsteady idle or feel like the car wants to shut off when coming to a stop. that may not be your problem since its running fine now but the fuel lean code will probably come back. make sure all the vacuum lines are not broken or frayed. most commonly the one to the "combi" valve at the rear of the head. they may not have replaced all the vacuum hoses when the engine was done

I am having the same trouble after installing my new T Belt. I had lean running (P0171) and Cam position sensor circuit code (P0340) with misfires. The misfires go away ofter about 2 minutes of warming up. I just changed my very clogged Fuel filter that fixed it for about 20 miles and now have rough idle and a lack of power. Certainly the new fuel filter helped. I also cleaned out my engine oil with a good flush and removed and cleaned the valve cover. This also helped. Are you aware that this engine has a serious sludging problem. Get used to flushing the oil system and make sure you change your oil regularly. A good suggestion is to empty the oil and fill the oil pan through the filler tube with about 1 cup of degreaser. Let this sit for 1/2 hour and empty. I was amazed how much stuff came out.
