I have an 02 with the GT28rs set up. It's a dual ball bearing turbo- However, spool time is faster with bearings but your moving a much larger turbo.
So, your looking at boost starting at 3k and coming on strong at 3500 rpm. If you run with the -71 compressor side, your now looking at 4000 rpm.
This turbo is much larger then a k03, sport k03 and k04. If you want pics of the difference between these two turbos email me at jwj500@earthlink.net and I will send you. I've put 3 turbo setups in my car and enjoy this set up by far the best. Over 300 Hp too.
Any turbo now should last the life of the car. Synthetic oil, reg. oil changes, let turbo cool after long or spirited runs.
