Those of you who have swapped in a non bosch maf (ie FORD)

Was it just a matter of wiring in a new maf or did you have to a specialized modded one and/or ecu?

Pretty sure the car will need to be retuned

since the voltage readings will be different with flow of the new "ford" maf.
