Default throttle body spacer
ok so my friend just put a throttle body spacer on his car and i was wondering if anyone put one on there audi and any gains? i have a 02 1.8tqm.

for his car we could feel the difference.

Default Throttle body spacer? What would this do anyway?
You sure you dont mean a spacer that goes between the intake manifold and the head to lower IAT's?

goes between the throttle body and the manifold

Default Have heard it's good for a couple rwhp on SB chevy motors...
Don't really know about the 1.8t though; I'd guess not.

What kind of car does your buddy have?

Other then move the throttle body away from the manifold.

It spaces out the throttle body.

BTW, how could moving the throttle body left or right affect anything?...boring it out..yes, getting rid of a restrictor plate, yes. But a spacer?
