Default I'm having the same issues too Mori :(

sux a big one.

I noticed that my noise goes away if I do a quick left to right jerk of the wheel, or quick jerk to the right when going straight. Noise goes away, but if I do right to left, still makes the noise. So my guess is front driver's side somewhere.

The noise is hard to describe, but kinda sounds like a tire rubbing on plastic lightly or something... like a whirring... that what yours sounds like?

My guess is a wheel bearing as well unfortunately. I think you can check to see how bad they are by leaning on/wiggling the tire while the car is on the ground. If there is excessive slop, it needs to get fixed.

Default Try rotating your tire

Move it to the back or to the other side and see if the noise moves.

I say do this first because it's the cheapest thing to do.

IF the noise moves wit hthe tire, then have the tire inspected because it could have a defect such as a weak bond between the tread and the tire......I know I had this happen on a tire with less than 7k miles on it.

Default When my wheel bearings went, they squeaked

I replaced them along with almost everything else up front and I still have a droning issue with my car coming from the right side.

Default No squeaking here

Was there excessive play in the wheel bearing?

I wonder why it's still droning.

Default Well, it's a slight droning that becomes obvious at about 60 mph

Going through curves, turing or breaking don't affect it all.

Default yeah, mine becomes apparent around 45 mph

and goes away with sharp cuts :0\ I'm going to swap the rims soon, so hopefully that will remove the sound. these tires have been heat cycled enough from track and autox'ing I'm sure they're hard as rocks by now... but they still got life in 'em! Can't believe it, but I at least have another track session on them, if not two bonus!
