Is the motor kind of loud, too?

I tell you, my engine sounds like new now that I've replaced the intake manifold gasket. I'm 100% sure that the manifold was leaking air. The idle is now about as good as I can imagine it will ever be. I think it's as good as when the car was new.

Just slightly. I've got new gaskets for

intake manifold to throttle body, & throttle body to plenum. I'm just waiting on my EGR gasket to come in to replace them, so I can do everything at once. Will I need any RTV gasket sealer?
