My car is currently at an upholstery shop and the guy can't get the driver seat to move back and forth to get access to the bolts that anchor the seat assembly to the car. I went there this morning and it seems as though there is no power going to either motors at all - the reclining motor and the seat motor. My guess is that it's the switch box and not the motors themself. Anyone have this problem before and could give me more insight? I know it's difficult to tell w/o volt testing the motors, but at this point the motors are not even accessible. BTW, my car is a 1996 A4 2.8QM if that helps. Thanks!
