I was looking at this pic of the lower intake. I will def. have to cut out everything removed in the pic to fit in the Eaton upside down. I will cut what is left of the intake runner down even with the injector port. I think it will be way easier to cut, or grind this away so I can mate the intake runners with the round section of the stock runner just before it enters the head.(instead of forming something to the D shape top of the lower intake half.) Let me know what you think,

but it seems like it would be easier fab with the SC upside down and a intake man. overtop. Of course i'd put some heat shielding between it and the vallypan.
I was planning to make a IM with a larger volume and longer runners than what the PES system is using. They seem 'very' short to me. The only book BandN had about the subject was pretty weak(about 1/4in thick mainly Musclecars)
I've drooled over that kit before, but can't afford it. The wife has a 30v.

So if it will please let me know. I haven't had the SC around at a time when the the IM was off so I haven't tested the fit. It just seems like it would be alot easier this way(upside down), instead of having to bend the intake runners down and then back upgain just so I can put the SC on top.

All I'm going to say is I have a Eaton M62 mounted on a 12v V6 upsidedown over the valley pan. Its on one of the spare 12v engines I have in my garage. Already started fabrication on the custom intake manifolds, and it will be intercooled with an air/air intercooler.

The stock ECU will no longer be "involved" with engine mangagement. MegaSqurit is a programmable affordable system. The maf sensor will be removed and a map sensor does its job. A 36-1 crank ring off of a ford escort will be mounted on the 12v crank. That and a VR sensor and a ford edis6 control module and ford coil will handle the spark. All programmable. The tuning will take some time, but luckily a 4wheel dyno is supposed be opening around here soon.
