I would be that the injector is being held open based on a few things. Today I drove the car and ran through about half a tank in 75 miles. That is not normal at all. The smoke looks like white/greyish smoke.
So the options here are what, harness issues, ground issue, ECU issue? I woudl avoid the idea of ground issue as I would assume I would get more issue than 1 injector. maybe the hareness is worn through in a spot and the #6 wire is shorting? I dont' know abut the ecu options really. Maybe it is starting to fail.

Well incase anyone cares. It was like 45-50 here yesterday, I pulled things apart a bit to see if I could find a chafed wire or something shorted but found nothign still. Put it all back together, cleared the CEL's and ran for a test drive. The 1206 code didn't come back yet. We'll see what happens today, i'll take it for a longer run today. Eitherway when that injector was working right yesterdya it felt like a whole new car, that injector cleaning by Cruzin Performance is worth the $17/injector. Idles smooth as silk, couldn't tell it is a 156k mile 14 year old car. Makes me want to dumpt the money into the timing belt in the next few weeks/month to make it last a few more years if she will run like this. Onlythinkg holding me back still is the FWD, I would spend a fools fortune getting this thing perfect if it were a Q car.

Nevermind, I lied. It came bac today after probably 30-45 miles of driving after an oil change and IAC cleaning.
Now I know it is something electrical but don't know where.

Well I rewired the injector inquestion and have had no issues since. I need to finish cleaning up the install and heat shrink the connections but should be a good solution it seems. Hope to not see this issue come back.

I haven't gotten the full wire pulled from the harness but I assume that the signal wire to that injector was shot. Either cut, corroded or the coating was worn so the wire was getting contact intermittently with the body. Just glad it is done and fizxed. Next up is the timing belt since this car needs it BAD in the next month or so.
