Calling all 12V owners with engine pictures...
I'm working on a project for my Mechanical Engineering class where i'm modeling our 12V Engine in Solidworks. Now i just rebuilt my engine over the summer so i have a ton of pictures of the top end of the engine. I need pictures of the engine, mostly the lower half of the engine, from the block and lower, the more the merrier. I'll post some pictures and possibly videos of the engine running in the computer when i'm done. Thanks guys

Got another nine in the pic poster

Hey if you want some real deal stuff, I have bearings, a crank, pistons, oil pump (maybe), upper and lower oil pans, pretty much everything less the actual block that you could borrow for a couple of months. It all came out of a bad donor motor I got to keep (blew the TB and scored all six pistons?, only downside). I took it apart for practice.

That would be great...
If something needed to be produced with this model that would be greatly appreciated, but it's simply to illustrate how the basic components of a V6 engine work so pictures are fine. This project is elementary in it's simplicity, I could have a working model done in a day that would still get me an A+. I just figured it would be nice to be as accurate and detailed as possible. So pictures are all i'll need to do this. We are only required to model the Block, crankshaft, pistons, and connecting rods. Very very easy. So i'm going to just model the whole engine, atleast the moving components of it. I've been using Solidworks for quite some time now so this class is a breeze. Lately when I am bored, i've been working on engineering a supercar in the computer. Since i knew precisely what i wanted to do for the wheels, brakes, and suspension, that's where i started to modeling. These are some old renders of the model (it's significantly more complex now, i'll probably post the full models when it gets closer to completion).
