Default confirmed, neither of my 90 degree silicone hoses on my 3" intake DIY are tight radius.

I did get the whole apparatus to fit, however rubbing on the mount that holds the electrical connectors for the O2 sensors and other electronics caused a hole to wear thru the bottom 90 degree section over time. Just to tight a fit, bottom line.

I have put my stock intake section back on for now, leaving my bored out MAF, VS and XTB+ installed.

I am going to get me a tight radius 90 degree silicone hose for the TB-->HVRS connection.

here are some pics of the set up as it was...

Default on a side note. I have had a audible vac leak ever since I installed my P&P'd IM and ..

gasket matched my heads.

after re-installing the factory intake plenum, my vac leak can still be heard. O well I thought it MIGHT be where I patched my lower 90 degree silicone section, or the mate of the same silicone joint to the TB, but I was wrong.

I guess the leak is either at the IM-->heads or in between the 2 IM halves. I have a "jar" of permatex aviation gasket sealer waiting for when I rip off the IM to fix this problem. Problem now is time and weather. Weather sucks and I am also going to the Arctic for a few weeks soon. common spring!!

Yup, that looks about the same radius as the one I bought. Those 034 ones are much tighter.

Default we had this EXACT conversation back on Halloween of 2006 and you were...

SPECIFICALLY told this wouldn't work, why and what the outcome would be if you attempted using those elbows. Against any/all advice to the contrary you chose to do it anyway. Now bear in mind this is no skin off my nose and doesn't create any more work for me. But it's frustrating when someone asks a question and someone responds with really good, accurate & useful info that falls on deaf ears. If you're not going to listen, why ask!?! After all it was YOUR *** we were trying to save/help. The radius of your elbows wasn't just confirmed today. It was confirmed YEARS ago!

All any of us can do is "recommend"... we can't "make" people make the right, or sometimes even very good choices/decisions. But we "hope" someone might listen, far-fetched as that may sound.

But no worries; you does em nice cuz you duz most of em twice ;-)

And yes, I'm giving you a hard time. But no differently than I would my own son and in a "mentor/fatherly" sorta way. Hey, you ASKED for it!

Should I do this?
