Couple of Cold Air Intake questions?

Default Couple of Cold Air Intake questions?
I was wondering what is a good size diameter for the ducting from the lower grill to the air box?

Are velocity stacks essential for a good result?

What do they do?

Do you need them on both sides of air filter?

Should I block up the original air inlet hole on the airbox?

3", no, speeds up the incoming air, no, not necessary

Default I think theres something wrong with the supspension it also does
this..
