Do you guys use a spark plug wire boot puller, or do you just yank.

Do you guys use a spark plug wire boot puller, or do you just yank.
I am ordering plugs, wires, and air filter and was wondering if I should get a tool to make the job a little easier.
If you use one, tell me how you like it and what it is.

On that note, how do these bosch wires look, any good?
Thanks for putting up with all of my spark plug talk, I am yet to change them in my car. Thanks.

http ://www.autohausaz.com/catalog/lookup_parts.cfm?VehicleID=1008739&CFID=245185 &CFToken=361017

Don't just yank, as you can destroy the plug wire . . .
I use a large, long plastic zip-tie (out of which I have cut the plastic locking stem in the head) and just wrap the zip-tie around the metal base of the plug wire, snug it up, and then pull. Due to the fuel rail and FPR over number three, I usually have a lot less zip-tie to hold on to and use a pair a pliers to get a better grip.
Works like a charm over and over and over again! Much better than plug wire pullers. For once, I taught my mechanic buddies a trick.

Note, there are Bosch wires and Karlyn wires, any good?
The reason I ask is, because from searching it appears that Karlyn = STI = Bremi, or something like that. If I am wrong, let me know.

I'm guessing for ease of removal/reuse if it slips off?
Check out these guys for wires. I have just the standard 7mm and I'm happy with them. Great prices to boot.

http://www.magnecor.com</a
