1998 avant v-6,engine chugs after revving & back to idle,remove line at egr valve & idles smooth,apply vac at valve with pump & egr opens & closes fine,have cleaned out port in intake,tried 2 different (used) egr solenoid valves.remove line at egr valve,install vac gauge,rev engine & have vac, then vac will not bleed back off, this is what is causing idle issue,when revving engine vac is staying applied to egr causing idle chug.remove line & idles fine again.have been driving with line plugged off at egr, then runs fine
