Default Finally found some headlights; got them from ECS tuning

They're one piece euro's with wiring adapter. The total price of the lights & kit was $389, just in case any of you are wanting some. Of course, having them overnighted along with an RS4 grill came to $567.32. So all in all, it's not too bad. I had to burn $500 up for my deductible anyway, & my insurance company (USAA) will credit that to the deductible & reimburse the overage. I got what I wanted, & I saved USAA $231.13 net over the price of OEM lights & grill. However, I'm now pimping a bright red Dodge Neon until the A4 is fixed. And if that weren't embarassing enough, my driver's license expired yesterday. The girl at Enterprise had to drive me to the Tag Agency to get a new license so that I could rent the car (at USAA's expense). She was quite good looking & had a great personality, & she also happened to be the daughter of a lady I worked with & knew well. And yes, horny toads, she was single. Anyway, that was the first thing I did this morning, even before showering & shaving. So I now possess a brand new Oklahoma driver's license w/ a trailer trash pic of me that cost me $21.50, & that I only need until I get to South Dakota next week. This gets more funner by the day :-p.

Oh BTW, anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for the headlights on a '96 A4?

Default Glad things are working out - ECS should include your wiring diagram with the harness.

At least they did for me.

Default I ended up just playing with a multi meter...

to figure out which leads to tap. And follow the wires to the plugs to figure out which wire goes to which light.

I can tell you that the white w/ green stripe is your fog light, and I believe the brown is ground. The other 2 I can't remember. Also you're ognna find an extra plug in your ecode for the xenon leveling motor, you may disregard this plug.

And for the city lights, I tapped into my parking light wire so that they come on with the parking lights.

Glad everything worked out for you! Though it sucked having this happen good things come out in the end Now you are erasing most of the rock chips you had on your front end =P Go get some 3M protective stuff and put the clear bra on to keep it nice and clean

I wouldn't mind picking off a deer with my car so that I could do that Maybe I'd put a carbon fiber hood on... and get the 99.5 bumper so I can get rid of my jurry rigging brackets for my fog lights

Default They do for the '97, but not the '96

The 96's wiring is different evidentally. The guy I talked to said to ask here on AW. Personally, I think they should've already had that info if they're gonna sell the product.
