Has anyone purchased/installed one of these kits?
If someone has, i've got a couple of questions.
Are the individual parts good quality?
Were all the parts in the kit sufficient for the installation?
Did the kit "feel" like it was well put together, or was it just a bunch of parts thrown into a box?
Would anyone recommend which kit to go with? City/highway driving, no racing of any sort.
When I get on the HWY, the oil temp sits between 100-110 celcius, I want to bring that down a little bit.
I attached a link directly to the best price i could find for this kit.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Karl.<ul><li><a href="http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/performance/brand.php?makeid=34&modelid=349&year=1996& amp;partid=536">http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/performance/brand.php?makeid=34&modelid=349&year=1996& amp;partid=536</a</li></u

1pissedoff90 figured out that you can take an OEM S4 oil cooler and install it onto the 2.8 v6 engine. The cooler itself goes right into place of your existing one, it has a larger cooling capacity as well (much larger than stock). Parts needed are the oil cooler and the threaded pipe from an S4 (you need this because it is longer than our stock one, but its thread is a perfect match)
STFA, I'm sure there are a couple threads regarding the subject.
