Default not even close. You'll want 2.5 amp minimum and the ability to hold 1/4" shank cutting tools...

that one is designed for up to 1/8" cutting tools. it's a toy

Default I'd love to have a horizontal grinder like that but it won't fit into IM runners...

would do a bang-up job or truing up the gasket flange surfaces tho.

Default Here ya go. This is all you need. The Makita "knock-off" uses all the replacement parts...

of the Makita die grinder and is a steal at the Buy it Now price of $8.99. Of course he's gonna break it off in ya for $15.50 shipping/insurance. Put a $15.00 speedcontrol from Harbor freight on this and you're good to go.

Least he's got glowing feed-back.<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&amp;item=3801360419&amp;cat egory=42152">Makita knock-off Grinder</a></li></ul>

Default I notice he doesn't list how many amps it is. Does it matter with the other specs he listed?

I e-mailed him so we'll see...

Default

His response "They are rated at 300Watt, 110 volt, which would be 2.7 amps, I believe."
