Default that's VERY true. I trust your product advice, and your workmanship.....

which is primarily why I'd feel comfortable with a group buy, for a consumeable item, over the internet.

And I know everyone makes claims as to the success of their product(s). It's just a calculated guess as to which one(s) to follow.

But in the spirit of things, if Mr D reads this, please count me in on the purchase of this acid. I'll be in contact with those interested parties as things develop.

Default A couple of questions about the acid...

Maybe some of these are explained on the label...maybe they aren't.

1. How to dispose of it?
2. How long can I keep it?
3. Will any large plastic container work? I'm thinking of using a storage bin like the ones they sell at Target or Walmart.

Also, are you going to post information about the porting tools that we'll need (the attachments for the die grinder)? I've seen some kits in the Eastwood Company catalog but want to get everything that I'm going to need.

Thanks,
Scott

Default Are all 6 gallons spoken for?

If not, I'll take one.

Default maybe we should do a couple GB's. Seems as though there's enough ppl to warrent it

I think we have 4-5 ppl just now, so if we get one more we can have a second GB. That's presuming we'll all take 2GAL.

Anybody only thinking of buying 1GAL? Comeon, speak up.

Default I think 1 gallon is sufficient...

From what Mance said, an overnight soak in 1 gallon diluted in water should do the trick.

Default ok, well, maybe those of us starting soon should be getting 1GAL.....

that way there's only one order, and we each get one gallon. Or one person can get 2Gal & the others 1Gal, or however it works out.
