How much for an Oil Pump Change

What oil pressure are you getting?
Get the dealer to check the oil pressure first!If he suspects low oil pressure he should check the oil pump relief valve, oil pressure check valves and oil retention valves before he even considers looking at the oil pump.
A new oil pump requires the timing belt to be removed, crank bolt removed, belly pan removed and oil pump to be unbolted.
At a guess, the workshop manual says 2 hours for an A4 belt change, so another 2 hours for the pump change at the Audi hourly rate plus the price of a new pump US$200 and a new pan and pump gasket US$30.
