Permatex High temp thread sealant.
says it is good up to 400F
will this work for something as critical as IM butterfly valves, or should I keep hunting for the Loctite brand?
thanks all

on LocTite vs the others. Best case it works forever. Worst case a screw lets go and a valve blows thru a piston. Your car/your call.
The bottom checked box would scare the Bejeezus outta me; "Parts repositionable after application." If they're "repositionable" how can they be locked solid!?! With 272 you'll NEVER get them loose again without a torch to heat em up.

13.50 to ship to you is more than the 6$ first mentioned. At 13.50, you are totally right...not worth it with all fees
thanks anyway tho bro.
