Default i have read a few discussions here about the hitachi ecu, and how restrictive it is.

the ecu's that were installed on european models were bosch correct?? and, the bosch ecu's are chippable?? or, just better performance wise than our hhitachi's?? from what ive read here, the ecu is next in line for bottlenecks, after the MAF.. has anyone aquired a european ecu and used it with results?
sorry for all the questions. i just cant help myself. the more i read, the more questions arise. i know these things have been discussed, but i have yet to find any conclusive arguments on the point. besides, its fun to drum up discussion/argument/progress..

Default I'd say the intake plenum, and or throttle body, would be the next bottleneck..

not the ecu. and I personally have a bosch ecu, I dont know how much difference it makes in terms of horsepower or anything, but it does have a distinct different feel than the Hitachi 12v's, and has responded to my mods very well. But as mance would say thats all objective, it could be exactly the same..
