Default I will be removing the MAF screen and so I thought I'd ask if there is anything else I should servic

while I'm in that area. Most importantly I have slightly rough idle (jumps from 640-680 on the climate contol screen) and sometimes my RMPs drop almost to stall when I engage the clutch while taking it out of the gear. It has only stalled on me twise, but I thought that I should clean something in the TB or MAF while I'm there anyhow. What can you sugest? I have a cone filter conversion so getting to that MAF whouldn't be too complicated.

Thanks,
PK.

Default A rough idle could be caused by a dirty ICV. You can clean it with carb cleaner.

Maybe I should pickup some vacuum hoses ahead of time. Any good place to get them? 3.2mm?

Default Cleaning the MAF and ICV fixed my dipping idle and stalling

The MAF looked only a bit dirty, but idling improved after cleaning it. The ICV, on the other hand, was totally dirty, and cleaning it made a HUGE difference. I've experienced neither dipping nor stalling since.

Removing the ICV turned out to be a bit tricky - small hands would have helped.

Default Suggestion: if you clean the ICV (you should, BTW) there is a connector directly below the ICV

as the FAQ mentions that needs to be removed. I used two threaded rods left over from another project to reach down in there and squeeze the clip to pull the connector off. It is kinda tight in there.

Thanks! Noticed you got 3.5, should I go for the same or 3.2? How many feet to you think I'll need?
