Default Idling rich and pulsing with new injectors ....

I installed my new P&P intake manifold last night with pink-top injectors and am now idling really rich and the engine revs from 500 - 1500rpm at idle. After reading around it sounds like the new injectors are delivering too much fuel because of the stock pulse duration. FIX? Thoughts?

Note: Also installed Akimoto air filter, S3 MAF, S3 silicone hose kit, and XTB :-)

Default More reading found this out ... (still accepting suggestions though)

Sounds like the pink top 22lb injectors are too much for my moded engine. Stock 16lb injectors will be more than good enough to around 220hp from what i read. I think i'll get those back in and have to wait till next summer to put the pink tops in when i do my next stage of planned mods :-)

How are you using S3 VS and a cone filter?

Default All fixed! Stock injectors did the trick.

The stock injectors fixed er up. She is running nice. Maybe the pink tops will come in handy in the future after another round of mods :-) A few tweaks tomorrow then i'll post my initial impressions.

Not running the VS it was just still in my sig. Oooops. I ran an Akimoto FR IV cone with VS built in.

Turns out I have two S3 VSs now if anyone wants i will put in classifieds.
