less than .060". But even stock only has about .100". So a couple hundred .125" diameter by .040"-.050" depth holes should make a difference.... until they plug with dirt, debris and dust. You'd need to stay on top of that.

but I think the blue S3 silicone would push it over the edge
I like it... and when I don't wanna look at it, I'll put the engine cover back on (after I get around to fixing my S3 hose kit so that it's on right again :-\)

On the outside... A few coils of... Where could we get some cool fluid. Sort of an intercooler? The radiator contents are too hot...
Just thinking a bit wildly & out loud.
Then again, how long is an air molocule inside the IM anyway? It's been a very long time since I took thermo, but air is a pretty good insulator and the time that a quanta of air is inside that hot pipe is short? Anybody done the math?

Even when I run HARD for 30 minutes or so on the track the IM stays cool to touch. It only get's hot at idle on hot days with the AC on and when you turn the engine off.
Heatsinks would be weird and hard to apply. No clearance between top and hood liner. And side-mounts would be a bear to fit due to fuel rail, injectors, spark plug wires et al.
