Used to be "No_A8_Yet" on this forum and the C4 forum. That name no longer applies, but I still drive the 1995 A6Q often.
A big reason I still drive the A6 is the improved drivability with Mances's upgrades. I haven't said "Thanks" lately, so "Thanks, Mance!"
Any A8 upgrades in the works?

if someone sorts out and sells a turbo kit. And makes it known, so when some 17 year old with a Golf wants to move up to an Audi, he won't hear "thars no mods for teh 12v"
I'm about 19 now, and I actually appreciate the 12v's apparent lack of easy power mods. When I got it at age 17 I had fallen out of interest in tuning as compared to the days of yore, and was happy enough just to have a 6-cylinder German car. Yet almost as soon as I took possession, that addiction came back in full force, and I wanted to modify the crap out of it. Being unable to go to ECS or PureMS, et cetera and whip out my debit card and buy boltons has forced me to learn a lot more than I would otherwise.
(Helping build an LS1-powered RX-7 FD in my garage with a friend didn't hurt either)
Mance, I'm sorry to hear of your family issue, and I hope things are working out better for you now. All of the regulars on this forum, I'm sure, massively appreciate the effort you've put in on these motors and the knowledge you've shared on them.
