Default Just received my Neuspeed rear Sway Bar reinforcement brackets...

For those that haven't seen these up close before (like me) they look quite good!

If you buy a Neuspeed rear sway bar you will receive these brackets with it. However I bought a forum member's LLTek Sway Bars which came with no such brackets. So before I crack my subframe I figured I should probably pick them up.

Part # 25.02.19.4 $49.99

More pics after the install...

Default Very smart move Michael!! Also be very aware during installation that the...

bushings and straps that came with the LLTek rear bar actually makes contact and "presses" against the back of the Neuspeed brackets as the stock Audi straps wont and it's very important or they'll "squish" out from under the straps on hard cornering. I just went thru that on my 22mm bar using Audi straps with Neuspeeds 22mm urethane bushings. Audi makes the better strap between the two but if you use them you have to shim up between the bushing and the mounting bracket about 1/8". Dont know what LLTek provided with their kit or how it'll fit but keep an eye out for no "slop" whatsoever when "whomevers" straps are tightened down. If the bushing can be moved left-right by hand it's DEFINATELY going to throw the bushing out! Rear bar will definately let you know when that occurs. Can you say 3lb sledge hammer against the sub-frame while driving? Doesnt hurt anything but YOWSA it makes some terrific noise. Scared the bejeezus outta me. Sounded much much worse than it actually was.

I'd like to see a pic of H-sport's bracket, if you know where I can find one. Thanks.
