Decided to go with black suede turned out good i only have $60 in materials + my labor not bad. I modded the back armrest so there is an opending when you pull it down, I have a jbl amp with a clear front and red lights inside that is going to sit there.

I've heard of a factory ski package that came with a opening behind the arm rest (like what you did) that your ski's can go through.
