Default This is an engine forum. This post belongs in the B5 forum.

Oh that's right, you don't post there anymore because they laugh at everything you do. As they should.

Doesn't your car still have an automatic transmission?

Default wouldn't he have to upholster the engine to accomplish that ;-)

I mean since "12V" is an engine and not a car. And "look better!?!" REALLY? Ya think? GAWD I must be a tough sell cuz just looking at that and seeing all the ill-fitted/loose suede and wrinkles and knowing how suede stains, fades, stretches/loosens further with age and use I just can't like it. Looks like DIY and ill-fitted "land yacht" Cadillac, Lincoln, Buick seats to me and certainly not something I would choose for a nitrous-breathing, turbocharged Audi sports sedan. I want my upholstery snug, pulled tight like it came from the factory and not some "bean-bag" chair. But in all fairness, "to each, their own." His car, not mine.

I must be REALLY outta touch if this line of thinking is catching on. "Outta touch" hell, I must be clinically psychotic!!

Default I'd like to clad my seats in velvet

Preferably with a black&white Holstein cow pattern. :-P
