Because at 5.9" high I am guessing those tips are 4" big to 4" big tips makes for a really ugly looking tale pipe. But if you like really big exhaust pipes go for it because man that's going to be big. I think Mance's exhaust is this big and I think there's a pic in his pic post. But I am going to say this once and for a good reason, I remember Mance posting that he didn't realize the exhaust tips where going to be that large and its not exactly his taste. It went something like that.

and I did say they were bigger than I would prefer. But in this case I choose performance over aesthetics. Besides, only people that see the tips are those behind me. That muffler is part of the reason they're back there ;-)

They all have to look at the blinging muffler when you pass by. Remus is one of the top mufflers in Germanay and supposidly out flows their competition at 85% more flow then a stock muffler. Something like that or so the web site stated last time I viewed it.

not a "lightweight" by any stretch. All that heavy-wall stainless is very solid, quiet and I'd put it up against anything flow-wise. Basically a solid, bullet-proof design that will likely outlive me and the car.

Unfortunatly If I do upgrade to the RS4 body I way have to retro fit some tips since mine are DTM style and will likely rub the rear valance.
