Default Mine has a bit of raspiness when it's cold... then it goes away

and sounds great across the board.

The burble/backfire sounds is sometimes associated by a metallic crackling sound, which is wierd.

I wonder what else contributes to the sound an exhaust makes...

IIRC from looking at the ETKA ,FWD uses a single cat.

Default Sounds of a hot vs cold system will be a lot different between stainless and non stainless systems.

To one degree or another everything about the system(diameter, bends, type of metal, type of joints, type and placement of components,....etc.) effects the noise it makes.

Default But is there anything else that can come into play with sound???

As in maybe cleanliness of the exhaust manifold??

I don't know I'm just shooting into the dark in an effort to find that balance point between performance and a non-obtrusive sound.

Default I wanted the original prototype to be welded. When I go back and re-do it in stainless...

after the bugs are worked out it will have downpipe flanges and a flange at the end of the long straight so it can be removed in 2 sections.
