Default O Ring size for PVC "quick connects"

I like re using the stock "quick Connect" ends when running my PCV lines. I am figuring that the O rings in them are old and could be replaced. Has anyone done this and used a particular size O ring (stock or bigger) to achieve a better seal where the quick connect attaches to the valve cover?

The O rings and "quick connects" in question can be seen here.

Zak-

I did a complete specification write-up on this specific subject listing Shore A hardness, ID and cross-section within the past few months. But the new search function is not making it easy for me to find. Perhaps you'll have better luck... then tell me how ya did it?

I just searched your user name and the key word "ring" and came across nothing.

Any other Key words that you can remember being in there that I can use?

OEM silicone (orange) orings are Shore A 70 Durometer while the OEM Viton (black) orings are a shore hardness of 75 Shore A.

Sold in quantities of 10 per pkg at McMastercarr.com and run around $12.xx per pkg for silicone (1st choice) and $7 per pkg for Viton (a distant 2nd choice).

Do NOT even consider Buna or Buna N (nitrile) on these as they get WAY too hot!

Thanks a bunch!
