The dielectric grease only prevents corrosion from starting on the open electrical connection, it actually seals the connection like electrical tape.
NOT intended to conduct electricity!!! Aye, there's the rub!
I just did a google search on "dielectric" and it appears to basically mean non-conductivity of electric current but supportive of electrostatic fields.
Thus, the problem may have resulted from our understanding of the grease's purpose.<ul><li><a href="http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/0,,sid9_gci211945,00.html">Definition/Explanation of Dielectric</a></li></ul>

I'm not sure exactly where it is, but I could dig it up this weekend. Let me know if you want it and we can work something out.

Spendy little mistake... $314 bones out the door.
I was in a bind because I had to go out of town for the weekend.
I appreciate the offer Scott, and should I do a bone headed thing like that again, I will be sure to see if you still have it available.

If you haven't installed it yet, make sure to pay close attention to which wire goes to which coil when you remove the wires from the old coil pack.

my gas mileage went through the roof! I averaged about 90MPH on the road trip and I put 345 miles on the tank of gas. I have never gone more than 285 before..
What gives?
