Oil pressure woes

So, I have an update:
Finally got a chance to pull it in the heated shop. After the reply from CRAZY_RUSSIAN I pulled the pump and replaced it. Here's what I found:
Appeared fine, except for excessive clearance between main gear and cover
This isn't good
Uh oh.
So, a little history on this engine: this isn't the original for this car. After a catastrophic failure in my original after 236,000 miles, I bought a 'donor' car. When I pulled the engine, I found that the pan had a crack in it that had been epoxied. So, I pulled the pan and out a new one on it. It gave me a chance to look inside the crankcase, and it looked pretty clean for 102,000 miles. But I now believe that it may have been starved for oil at some point, hence the oil pump damage. Anyways, thanks for all the help.
